Meet Ron & Cynthia
Ron spent 3 decades in the Middle East, Asia Pacific, India & Europe growing a successful multinational business by developing strong relationships with his team & customers, and by embracing the cultural nuances of each market. Thanks to his nomadic expat life, he developed an enviable knack for layering antiques from across the globe to make any house feel like home. A keen supporter of Bath Rugby, he is known for his jovial personality & questionable Scottish humour.
Love brought Cynthia to Bath, which she now calls home. She has spent over 25 years leading & improving businesses as a consultant and entrepreneur in Asia and now, she brings a refreshing style to antique retailing. With a passion for customer service, quality, and community, her best days are spent understanding what customers want & finding the right piece for them. She also loves “geeking out” on history and giving the stories that add joy to her client’s purchases.
The Story of Beau Nash Bath

Situated in Brock Street, between the Royal Crescent & the Circus, Beau Nash Bath was founded in 2014 by Ron Pringle & Duncan Campbell as an antique silver shop.
The shop is named after the famous Master of Ceremonies of Georgian Bath, Richard “Beau” Nash, who also donated silver to the Bath council during his time.
In 2022, in answer to local (and not-so-local) demand, we opened a new shop dedicated to decorative antiques and classic interiors. To support our expansion, we’ve welcomed a new partner, Cynthia Wihardja. Through both our shops, we hope to embody the warmth, beauty, and classical elegance of Bath.
The name Beau Nash remains suitable to our identity, as he was considered the leader of fashion in 18th-century Britain. Through our two shops, we hope to offer fashionable antiques to help you create a stylish and comfortable home. We carefully curate high-quality timeless & memorable pieces from different eras & countries to freshen the look and feel of your homes.
Beau Nash was also an extremely sociable man. In fact, he was the darling of Bath, who, unusually for that time, struck friendships with people from many different walks of life. We share his passion for friendship and community. We aim to create a shop that feels like home and create an enjoyable shopping experience for you.
So we invite you to come to Brock Street and experience the warm, congenial elegance of Bath. We look forward to seeing you soon.
